34. Second Visit to Llansteffan & Dinefwr.

I decided to visit Llansteffan and Dinefwr a Second time, as this time round I will klnow exactly what I need to photograph. FOCUS ON : TOWER, MAIN DOOR, WHOLE CASTLE, WINDOWS, STONE WORK, ARCH ABOVE DOOR.

Fake or Not? There are many issues surrounding Documentary Photographs, and the main one is the veracity of the photographs and if they are fake or real? Here are two very recognisable documentary photographs.  The one on the left is Arthur Rothstein's photograph 'Cattle Skull, Badlands', 1936. Rothstein was part of the Farm Security Administration, or the 'FSA', and was one of many photographers who were commissioned to photograph and document the effect that the Depression had on many rural parts of America. 16. Contemporary Documentary Photographers.

It is important to research various different styles of documentary photographers, as well as portraiture and various other which I have looked at, there is also the contemporary style documentary photography. Researching this would give me a better idea about how you can push the boundaries of photography.  http://www.vam.ac.uk/content/articles/c/contemporary-documentary-photographers/ I began my research by searching for contemporary documentary photographers on major gallery websites, as the screen shot above shows, the V & A website had the most useful page. It highlighted the work of several recognisable contemporary documentary photographers, these photographers included: Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, Clare Richardson, Albrecht Tubke, Deirdre O'Callaghan, Roger Ballen, Tina Barney, Donovan Wylie and Allan Sekula. 22. 24/7 - Final Piece & Evaluation

Here are my final images, after all the feedback and comments, for the 24/7 assignment on my grandmother, Glenda Jones. Critical Evaluation With regards to my 24/7 project, on my Grandmother, Glenda Jones, there are a few aspects of the project which I would have like to have changed, but overall, I am happy with my final selection of images and I do feel I documented the 24 hours of my grandmother’s life quite well. To begin, and I believe this to have been the main issue when it came to this project, I really should have taken more photographs and gone back on several more days. This can be said about all projects, but I do feel this would have made a huge difference to my selection of final images. It would have given me a larger selection of images to choose from, and given me a larger mixture, showing every aspect of my grandmother’s day.
